There are now two ways to register at PhotoCentral...
Web-Based Registration

Web-based Registration is through the Hayward Area Recreation and Park District (HARD) where the current available classes are listed by title and cost.
After obtaining a Username and PIN # by calling: 510-881-6700,

CLICK HERE to register for photography classes.

Note: HARD only lists the current quarter's classes. If you're looking for a class that's not listed it may be because the registration is not open for that class yet. Call 510-881-6721 if you have questions about a class that you can not register for on line.

Contact HARD office at 510-881-6700 for registration dates for Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall.

Registration Process

To qualify as a resident you must reside in Hayward, Castro Valley or San Lorenzo. Call 881-6700 if you have questions about your status.

  1. Print off the above form.
  2. Fill-in student, class and payment information.
  3. Sign and return registration form to PhotoCentral, Hayward Area Recreation and Park District.

To make it easier for you to register for the District's Photography Program, we have established the following registration procedures.

In person

  1. H.A.R.D. Administration Office, 1099 E Street, Hayward, CA 94541 9:00-5:00 pm
  2. PhotoCentral (Lower level of H.A.R.D. Administration Office), 1099 E Street, Hayward, CA 94541, 510-881-6721. Monday, 6:00-10:00 pm and before and after classes.

By fax

You may use your MasterCard or VISA to register by FAX (510) 881-6763.

By mail

Mail-in registration should be sent to the H.A.R.D. Administration Office. Registration should be received no later than one week prior to the first class meeting to a) ensure a space in the class and b) avoid cancellation of the class. On a space available basis, registrations will also be taken the first class meeting.
